IT'S THE MOVIES

aah, Cinema! how 'bout a lovely little Matinee this Sunday?
everybody loves a good movie... and they come in all shapes
and sizes, too. when I was a kid, I always looked forward to
Saturday night, when the 'rents would let us kiddies stay up
late, and watch "Creature Features" on good old Channel 9
(that's WGN TV Chicago, for the unwashed amongst you)...
they always had the real classics, like the 1930's Boris Karloff
version of "Frankenshtein". ya gotta love it. today's Big Blog
will take a look at some movies. not a review, just a look...
"John Q. Public. come on down!"
here's a screenshot from the Bobby DeNiro remake of
"Mary Shelley's Frankenshtein". I really liked this one.
send all your spare change to this man,
Al Frankenshtein.
"The Wizard of OZ" is a classic, too! who doesn't like
watching the ScareKramer being ripped to pieces by
a batch of Flying Minkeys? ooh, and with Pink Floyd?
now, here's the movie poster from what is quite possibly
the worst film ever made. the making of this was part
of the subplot for the later Johnny Depp film, "Ed Wood".
"The Shteining". yeah, buddy, Jack Nicholson
at his very finest. "Heeeeeeeeere's Johnny!"
I have no fucking idea what this one's about.
but, hey, it's a lot of fun, though, isn't it?
yowzers! remember these two freakazoids?
... here's the "after" shot. -or, is it a "before" shot?
either way, it's fun and harmless. click to enrage.
I almost forgot "The Bride of Frankenshtein". silly me...
here's the Shteinfeld cast in the poster for "Shtar Wars".
"Hello, Darth Newman..." another classic...
... and, speaking of classics, say hello to "New Wave Hookers".
who could forget the timeless performances of Bert Travolta and
Kermit L. Jackson, in the cinematic masterpiece, "Mulp Fiction"?
I found this one this morning. beware
of the Blog. yup. be very, very afraid.
last, but not least, here's the poster for Demi Moore's
film about both the pending Apocolypse and Diarrhea,
"The Seventh Shtein" this great film had poor box office.
see ya in the Spring, yo...
